Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to Sukuro. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data the app handles and how we use it. Sukuro does not require you to create an account. The app is free and ad-supported: advertisements are served by Google AdMob, which may collect certain device identifiers as described below.

2. Data we collect

Sukuro does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or account credentials. The data generated by the app is:

• Learning preferences and progress (favorites, filters, AI credits, language settings): stored exclusively on your device using local storage and never transmitted to our servers.
• Crash reports and anonymous usage statistics: may be collected by the Google Play Store or Apple App Store platforms under their respective privacy policies.
• Advertising data: Google AdMob may collect your advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS / GAID on Android), device information, coarse location (via IP address), and ad interaction data (impressions, clicks) to serve and measure ads. On iOS, you will be prompted for consent via an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) dialog before any tracking occurs.

3. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Sukuro uses Google Gemini (Google Generative AI) to generate educational content such as explanations and example sentences.

• When you request an AI explanation, the text of the relevant flashcard is sent to Google's servers for processing. No personal information is included in these requests.
• According to Google's standard API terms of use, this data is not used to train their models and is processed solely to generate the immediate response shown in the app.

4. Third-party services

We do not sell, trade, or share personal data. The third-party services used by Sukuro are:

• Google Gemini API: Used to generate AI-powered explanations. The text of the relevant flashcard is sent to Google's servers for processing. No personal information is included. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.
• Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers, device information, coarse location (via IP), and ad interaction data. On iOS, your consent is requested via an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before tracking begins. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.

No other third-party analytics or tracking services are used.

5. Data storage and deletion

Your learning preferences and progress are stored locally on your device. Our server only stores anonymous, non-identifiable data (aggregated flashcard statistics and content reports) that cannot be linked to any individual. No personal information is ever stored server-side. To delete all local app data, simply uninstall Sukuro from your device.
